In March 2005, SingVax secured its first round of investments from Bio*One Capital . These funds are being used to develop SingVax's products through, pre-clinical and early clinical studies.

Bio*One Capital is the dedicated Biomedical investment arm of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). It is responsible for managing funds that invest in strategic biotechnology and medical technology companies and start-ups, in order to facilitate the growth of a vibrant biomedical sciences (BMS) cluster in Singapore.
