Product Development – Enterovirus 71 (EV71)

SingVax's development of an EV71 vaccine aims to address the growing unmet medical need for a safe and effective preventative treatment of EV71 infection. EV71 is the main causative virus of Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. SingVax is developing a prophylactic EV71 vaccine, which targets children before they enter child-care centres, in order to reduce transmission.
